10.2-ha Pamalican Island

Pamalican Island, in the municipality of Busuanga, is part of the Calamian Group off the northern tip of Palawan. It is surrounded by white sand extending 1,000 meters around the shores. With its vegetation, a collection of dipterocarp and fruit trees, the island has become a bird sanctuary and nesting place for the endangered sea turtles. It is a superior area for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
